Namelijk: de kabouters van Åsas Tomtebod. Zelf heb ik ze al jaren geleden gespot bij Illum Bolighus in kopenhagen. En was op slag verliefd... Ze worden gemaakt van echt schapenhaar welke je zelfs kan onderhouden met wat water en een borsteltje.
Ze komen in drie maten: 35 cm, 55 cm. en 80 cm. hoog.

Hij is eigenwijs en aanhankelijk. Maar net waar je zelf zin in hebt, want hij kan elke move maken die ´gewone´ hondjes ook kunnen! Ontworpen door Hans Bølling, al (!), in 1953 en opnieuw uitgebracht door ArchitectMade.

Dankzij de regen zat ik gisteren lekker even weg te dromen op de site van Illums Bolighus; altijd fijn! En daar kwam ik de nieuwe serie van bObles tegen. Nu was ik al fan van dit Deense kleurrijke motoriek speelgoed. Maar ik moet zegen dat ik ook wel heel warm loop voor deze natuur variant. Door een speciale techniek heeft het EVA foam een houtlook gekregen. Het blijf dus hetzelfde product maar in een meer verantwoord jasje ;0)!

Thanks to the rain yesterday, I was dreaming away  on the site of Illum Bolighus; always nice! And there I came across the new series of bObles. From the beginning on I was a fan of the colorful Danish toys. But I must say that I find this nature variation very attractive. Using a special technique they make now the EVA foam in a wood-look. So it remeans the same product but in a more responsible jacket ;0)!

Als ontwerper ben ik naturlijk ook altijd op zoek naar de fijnste stofjes. Nu stuitte ik onlangs op deze Duitse site: Volksfaden. Letterlijk vertaald: garen van het volk. Helemaal hip vormgegeven. En als klap op de vuurpijl een heel mooie afdeling organisch katoen!

As a designer I am also looking for the finest fabrics. Now I recently came across this German site: Volksfaden. Literally translated: yarn for the people. Totally hip designed. And to top it all off a very nice unit organic cotton!

Samen met het designduo Asshoff & Brogård komt IKEA met een nieuwe meubellijn genaamd Isala. Isala is geïnspireerd op de oude Zweedse meubelen, maar dan met oversized benen.  Ook geheel nieuw zijn de kleuren die gebruikt zijn. Zacht paars en grijs welke zich goed laten combineren met het al bestaande wit en hout.
