Eén van de woontrends van dit moment zou je emotionele soberheid kunnen noemen. Sober vanwege het kleurgebruik, de effen stoffen en strakke materialen. Emotioneel vanwege de vorm en dynamiek die de objecten uitstralen.

Het Italiaanse bedrijf Moroso gaat hier geheel in mee met de hernieuwde collectie van Toshiyuki Kita genaamd: Saruyama Islands. Al in 1989 werd de eerste Saruyama bank ontwerpen. Nu is hij uitgebreid met drie modules die samengevoegd kunnen worden. Zelf ben ik er helemaal weg van gewoonweg omdat het net stukjes klei lijken of aangespoelde stenen langs een bergbeekje...´emotioneel´...jip!

Ik zie een trend. Overal waar je kijkt duiken er vlinders op. Of het nu in de keuken is of op je bank, overal vliegen en fladderen vlinders door je beeld. Waarschijnlijk voortgekomen uit de ´natuur trend´. Want naast de vlinders tref je ook nog steeds veel botanische vormen.

Kijk maar eens in de nieuwste catalogus van het Deense House Doctor. Of op de site van het Engelse Runaway coast. Heerlijk vind ik het. Laat de lente maar komen!
